Who should attend?

Anyone interested in photography! Professional and amateur photographers, curators, students and enthusiasts are all welcome.

Is the venue accessible to individuals with disabilities?

The Perelman Auditorium is wheelchair accessible. American Sign Language interpretation is available by request at symposium@photoreview.org. 

Is registration required?

Yes, although registration is free, it is required. This helps us plan for seating and ensures you receive any event updates. Register to attend in-person or virtually via Zoom.

Does my registration for the Saturday Symposium include Dr. Willis’ keynote lecture on Friday night?

No, you must register separately for the keynote lecture here.

Is there a registration deadline?

Registration is open until the event fills, so we encourage you to register early to reserve your seat.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely! Just be sure that you have each registered.

Is lunch included?

No, lunch is on your own, but we encourage you to order a box lunch as the lunch break is only an hour. No outside food is permitted in the Museum. Box lunches must be ordered by May 15. Click here to order lunch. 

Will there be refreshments?

Light refreshments will be served at morning and afternoon breaks.

Where can I park?

All-day parking for the symposium is available in the Philadelphia Museum of Art parking lot at member rates. Alternatively, there is metered street parking in the area for varying lengths of time, and other lots nearby.

What time should I arrive?

Doors will open at 9 a.m. The symposium will begin promptly at 9:30. We recommend that you arrive by 9:10 to allow time for check-in.

Can I ask the speakers questions?

Yes, there will be a Q&A at the end of each session.

How long is the event?

The Saturday symposium is 7.5 hours with breaks. It will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and end at 5 p.m.
