The Photo Review is looking for one or two unpaid interns for work with our Managing Editor at our office in Langhorne, PA.
This internship gives you the opportunity to see the day-to-day goings-on at the office of a photography journal and may include assisting with the following tasks:
- organizing our collection of photobooks and entering their data in a database
- writing photobook reviews
- handling competition and auction photographs
- file management for our competition and auction digital photograph files
- preparation and help at our events, including our annual benefit auction and annual garden party
- maintenance of our database of photography, museum, gallery, and university contacts
- sending subscription and donation mailings
- looking up information about photography auctions and photographs that sold
- general office organization
Given that this work involves writing, maintaining records, and handling art, this internship would be appropriate for people studying:
- photography or other arts
- journalism/English/writing
- nonprofit management
- arts administration
